This summer, I am especially engrossed in the urban atmosphere of fashion. I adore the close-fitting silhouettes on womens' fashion, such as the pencil skirt or high waisted skirt. Lovelovelove a properly put together high waisted outfit. This dress from Urban Outfitters perfectly defintes the shape I absolutely admire. (the black and white floral one pictured above.)
Things that have caught my eye especially:
1. floral keds from UO, only $20, would look great with a high waisted casual pencil skirt and a white v-neck tucked in, a close fitting dress (as pictured above) or retro-style high waisted shorts and a tucked in button down. I can't wait to buy those!!
2. straw fedoras, look perfect with a summery dress, a contrast to a super feminine dress with the masculine-esque hat
3. For a contrast, the yellow Lilly dress with the white detailing at the neckline would be absolutely adorable paired with those white ked-esque sneakers and vintagey ray-ban aviators in gold. loveloveloveeee that!
4. Ever since I strolled into the Lilly store on Park Ave for the first time, I have been captivated by this lavish cuff, gold with pink and green stones. So Lilly--so perfect!
5. The flower necklace from Free People is to die for. 'Nough said.
6. Last but not least, this headband from Free People is perfectly executed, I think. Some headbands that are worn hippie-ish come across as trying too hard kinda deal, but I think that is glamorous but still with that 60-70's twist.
